Movie Group Project

This new project is a "Group Project", which means you must work with your group - previously chosen. You must work as a group member and contribute equally in your group's movie creation. If not, points will be taken off from your grade.

Remember: the movie should include at least 12 slides (with photos of your choice, selected carefully to enhance your slide show.) It should include a "title" slide with the name of your movie and a "closing" slide with credits - the names of your group. Add transitions, special effects, titles, text and music. Also add a quote or poem. You can also add an enhanced picture created in Photoshop, using some of the filters used in our Photoshop Exercise (like "Artistic" - Paint Daubs, Plastic Wrap, Dry Brush, etc. - you can use more than one in a picture) Get creative!

If you have any questions regarding the new version of iMovie or Photoshop, please do not hesitate to ask me. This movie is due: October 31st, 2006.

TEST

The test was moved to October 12, 2006.
This test will cover: iPhoto and iMovie (papers on iLife and Lessons 3, 4, 5 and 6) plus the notes taken in class.

* Cool Pieces Album and Cool Pieces Smart Album (learning how to insert "Keywords" and add "Ratings" to your pictures, and how to create a "Smart Album")
* Creating Folders (Biz Owner, Student, Father)

3. iPhoto Exercises - Lesson 5
* iBooks: "Petroglyph Idea Book" and "iBook of Choice" with pictures of your own selection.
* Birthday Party Slide Show with background music.
* Slide Show with pictures of your choice (you can use the pictures used in your own iBook creation).

4. iMovie - Lesson 6 (Building a Dynamic Slide Show)
* Learning: how to change the "Ken Burns Effect"
* How to create movies with still photos
* How to add titles and transitions
* How to add special effects
* How to change the timings
