Photoshop Exercises 10 - 12

For Exercises 10 – 12 select THREE of the following exercises in:
http://www.adobe.com/education/digkids/lessons/index.html (even though these exercises were created for Photoshop Elements, they can be adapted to our version - Photoshop 7). By now, you should be able to do these with the techniques already learned in class. You may select another one from this site with Mrs. Feld’s permission. Please follow the instructions carefully – ask Mrs. Feld if you have any questions:

1) Cartoon Kids: You can select a picture of yourself, a friend or someone else.
2) Funny Ads: Choose a product of your choice and follow exercise instructions.
3) Collage: Put several pictures together to create an exciting collage.
4) Create Impressionist Artwork: Select a picture of your choice and add different Artistic filters to your picture until it looks like an impressionistic painting.
5) Digital Dali: Create interesting Dali-Style digital art.

For the Second Quarter that ends January 25th, you have to complete 13 (twelve) Photoshop Exercises. I should be able to find them in your Digital Arts folder in the Server (under Digital Applications 1 or 5 – your class).

Exercises 1 - 6 are : 1) The Red Rose Exercise using "Color Range"; 2) The Feathered Vignette Exercise; 3) The Old Photo Exercise (also using the feathered vignette technique); 4) The "Oxcart" or "Coffee Beans" Exercise (using the Magnetic Lasso and changing the background); 5) The Nine of Me Exercise; and 6) The Magical World Exercise. If you haven't completed these you can find them in iLife 05 - under Photoshop Exercises. You also had to complete the Leaf Brush Exercise (this one counts as No. 13).

The Class Exercises were: the Layers and Gradient Tool Exercises Kitchen World, Zenith Design, and Flower Power; as well as the New England Fall Exercise.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask Mrs. Feld.
