FINAL EXAM

Those students taking the Final Exam Thursday, May 27, 2010, must review the following material:

• Review your Photoshop Notes (there's a Review Presentation in iLife06 under "Review for Final"). What is Photoshop? What are JPEG's? What are Pixels? Important Keyboard Shortcuts (Command-U, Command-J, Command-Shift-U, Command-T, Command-D, Command-Z). What are Filters? What can you do with Filters? What are Layers? How can you organize layers in Photoshop? Why is it important to use layers in Photoshop? Reviewing Tools (Move Tool, History Brush Tool, Eraser Tool and others used in class) How do you Desaturate a picture?
  
• What are Digital Cameras? What is resolution? What are Megapixels? Multimegapixels? Parts of the Digital Camera. What is LCD? What are Bitmaps?
• What is Digital? What are Binary Numbers?
• What is iMovie? What is the "Ken Burns Effect"? What are the advantages of using iMovie to create a slideshow?

Photoshop Exercise: You will create a Photoshop Exercise for the Final Exam. You can start getting ideas for this exercise in iLife06 under Final Exercise. You must create a magazine ad for a brand of Shampoo. You must remember how to enter text in a Photoshop document and how to use Blending Options.  You can start saving on your desktop (in a Folder named Final Exercise) images of shampoo bottles, persons or children you may want to use (maybe with long hair), or any other images you think you may want to use the day of the Final Exam. Your ad must look very professional. You will save it in the server as FinalEx and you will print it for Mrs. Feld the day of the exam.
