Exercise No. 8

With this exercise you will review some of the techniques already learned in Photoshop. You will use the Magnetic Lasso Tool to select yourself (or any other person) from a picture of your choice - maybe from one of the pictures you already scanned for your iMovie project. I recommend that you change the feathering to 1 or 2 pixels before making the selection (go to Feather on the toolbar). Find a background of your choice (you can look in the iLife05 Folder under Scenic or other or find interesting backgrounds in Google Images). Then you will move your image or other into the selected background. If you need to reduce the size of your image - don't forget to use the Free Transform feature (Command-T) and change the size by pressing the Shift Key, so that the image's proportions don't change.

The whole picture should look very realistic, like you or the person selected are really there.

Save it as Exercise No. 8, and as a JPEG, and put in your Digital Applications Folder in the Server.
