FOURTH QUARTER - Final Project
So we have finally arrived to the Fourth Quarter! Time went by pretty quickly really, we cannot complain! Very soon you'll graduate and start a brand new stage in your lives (Seniors). I'm very proud of your accomplishments and good work in my Digital Applications Classes. Thank you for your interest and dedication!
This quarter's main project is the FINAL PROJECT. Please check the folders in the Server (PHOTOSHOP > 4thQ Exercises > FINAL PROJECT). There you can find three folders (Project 1, 2 and 3). You have three options: create a Mission Statement for your life, create a Public Awareness Movie (topic of choice) or create another type of movie in coordination with another teacher (that can count in both classes). If you think of any other ideas, please talk to me about it. I like you to be creative and innovative; many project ideas are a good thing!
I know some of you don't want to work with iMovie, due to the problems we've had with this Mac application (version incompatibilities, and other). So I've decided that if you want to create an iBook (Photo Album) in iPhoto instead of an iMovie, I will accept it. Let me know if you choose to do this. There will be a few changes in the instructions then.
If you choose to create a Book: you must have at least 20 pages. You can fill these pages with your Digital Art work, your own pictures, baby pictures, quotes or other, besides the basic instructions you must follow from the project descriptions. Select a theme that allows you to add text. Get creative! When completed you will create a PDF of your book.
Even if you create a book, I must see that you spend some good time deciding which pictures and text to use and that your creative mind was at work. Remember: passion in all you do is important! You have the power to affect others with your enthusiasm, committment and dedication! You will be successful if YOU CARE!
If you create a movie, I need you to convert it into a QuickTime Movie and save it in the Server (Digital Applications Folder under Final Project).
The project is due: May 20th, 2011. There will be no Final Exam.
